The Location. In The Heart of Portstewart.

There's a reason students choose to live in Portstewart rather than on campus. Sitting at the top of Church Street, Montagu Living places you right in the beating heart of one of Northern Ireland's most vibrant coastal towns with everything you need for student life just steps from your front door.

The famous Anchor Bar Complex on the Promenade, part of Portstewart's furniture since 1898 and the oldest traditional bar in the area is a short stroll away. Incorporating the Anchorage Inn, Anchorage Bistro and Aura Nightclub, it's known throughout Ireland for its convivial atmosphere, friendliness and great Guinness.

Whether it's a Friday night out, a live music session or a casual meal, it's practically on your doorstep.

Montagu Living Location

Getting to University

Campus is Closer Than You Think

Ulster University's Coleraine campus is just three miles from Portstewart. And getting there couldn't be easier.

1.

By Bus

The Ulsterbus 140c/d University Special service runs directly from Portstewart to the Ulster University campus and is one of the most popular ways for students to travel. Bus stops are within easy walking distance of Montagu Living, and up-to-date timetables are displayed throughout the building. Full timetable information is available at translink.co.uk.

2.

By Train

The University railway halt on the Coleraine - Portrush line serves Ulster University directly, with connections to the mainline at Coleraine for onward journeys to Derry and Belfast. Portstewart is on this very line, making the train a fast and reliable option. The halt is often extremely busy, given its proximity to the university.

3.

By Bike

20 secure bicycle spaces are provided on-site - an easy, healthy and cost-free way to make the short journey to campus.

4.

By Car

For those with a car, 17 on-site parking spaces are available.
